In order to make sure sustainable supply to our consumers, our farming activities are properly planned according to the demand requirement.
However, our farming can be affected by several unexpected factors such as bad weather, natural disaster etc. Hence, there may be shortages of products at times.
Possible factors:
- Farms affected by pest and diseases.
- Produce did not meet our standards.
- Poor weather leading to slower growth.
We do not use excessive chemicals to resolve pest and disease problems in order to ensure that our produce are safe for consumption. What we do is to cull off diseased plants to try to save the remaining ones. So, there may be times we need to do a 100% farm clearing in order to secure safe production for the next cycle.
